- Scout Uniform is NOT needed for the weekend
This is just a guide for the guys. The main things to make sure you have is loads of t-shirts, socks and warm and waterproof clothes. Obviously we hope we wont need the waterproofs but normally with the October weekend you have to plan for the worst.
As the weather might be quite bad when we are putting up tents its a good idea to put the clothes inside a big plastic bag in the rucksack.
We advise scouts NOT to bring mobile phones / IPods or anything electrical or expensive that can be easily lost or broken.
All the leaders will have mobiles with them in case parents need to contact scouts.
