Gear List - Pinjaager 2010
- Rucksack – we advise you to use a black bag as a liner for rucksack to keep clothes from getting wet
- Day Bag- a school bag or back pack
- Sleeping Bag
- Roll mat/lilo
- Spare Scout scarf
- Waterproofs- coat and bottoms
- Jumpers- fleeces/hoodies
- Tracksuit Bottoms
- Shorts/ T-shirts (plenty)
- Swimming togs- shorts and Speedos and swimming cap
- Cutlery- Bowl, plate, cup, knife, fork, spoon (plastic or metal please- no breakables)
(bring spare if possible as cutlery can get lost)
- Tea Towels - (4)
- Underwear – boxers,socks,football socks
- Big Towel
- Wash Bag – tooth brush, tooth paste, shower gel, shampoo, hand towel, soap
- Runners/ hiking boots - 2/3 pairs is recommended
- Torch
- Batteries
- Jam jar
- Penknife (optional)
- Clothes Hanger for uniform
- Sunglasses
- Sun Cream and after sun (essential)
- Insect repellent with deet (Look for the ingretient deet- either 25 or 50 is good. Not higher)
- Baseball cap
- Wallet
- Plastic bag for wet clothes
All the leaders will have mobiles with them in case parents need to contact scouts.
Clothes that will be worn in final city should be kept in a plastic bag at the bottom of rucksack to keep clean
Full Scout Uniform must be worn to the airport, black shoes, black trousers, scout shirt and scarf.
